I will be attending the council meeting as a guest of TerriLois Mashburn, ROD. The goal of the Leavenworth-Lansing Area Chamber's Military Affairs Council (MAC) is to advance the pro-business climate in the area through military affairs initiatives, and to maintain and enhance the business community's relationship with Fort Leavenworth.

The topic of this working session will be property tax. I will be attending as a private citizen to voice my concern for the ever growing property valuations and the resulting tax increases.

Leavenworth GOP Picnic
It is that time of the year again for our annual LVCO GOP Picnic. This is a great opportunity to meet the candidates. Bring your family and friends!
We have reserved Shelter #2 at the Basehor Park located at 15940 Leavenworth Road in Basehor from 4 p.m. until dusk on Friday, June 17th.
The GOP Board will provide a fried chicken dinner with all of the sides for $15 per person. Please bring a your favorite dessert. Meal tickets will be available the day of the picnic.
