A Quick “About Me”
Who Am I?
A member of the Leavenworth/Lansing community for 36 years.
Retired production manager at the Hallmark Cards plant in Leavenworth. I’ve worked in the Hallmark and Select products plants for over 23 years in my Hallmark career.
Retired United States Navy Captain with 28 years of service to our nation, both active duty and reserve.
Veteran of Foreign Wars life-member with deployments to Iraq and Kuwait
Lisa and I have raised our family here, including our 3 kids who are graduates of Lansing High School.
Member of St. Francis de Sales parish and a past member of the Pastoral Council and Finance Committee.
Past member (14 years) of the Alliance Against Family Violence (AAFV) Board of Directors, including Finance Officer and Vice-Chairman of the Board.
Advocate and supporter of the United Way of Leavenworth County.
What I believe.
America is greatest when we truly are a melting pot of all the people and cultures who make up our country.
We learn from the past and move forward!
I believe strongly in the 2nd amendment!
I believe in economic growth through capitalism.
I believe energy independence
I believe in “life” and the “Value them both Amendment.”
I believe in and support the Constitution of the United States as it is written. Our Founders created a democratic-republic that must be protected and defended.
I am a strong supporter of our military, veterans, and first-responders.
Why am I running for political office?
I am alarmed at the political activism that degrades parental rights, family values, and places government at the center.
I am alarmed at the “social engineering” that is happening in our school systems (CRT, Trans-gender/sexual orientation “grooming” of pre-K-elementary age children).
Alarmed at the continuing rise of personal property taxes.
Alarmed at the push for abortion rights and practices that terminate “life” and pregnancy up to the moment of live birth.
I’ve served this nation and our community for over 30 years. I want to continue serving the citizens of Lansing, Leavenworth, and the State of Kansas
Why should the voter care?
Assaults on our freedoms and liberties have risen through:
High/Higher taxes (Personal Property Tax, food and grocery taxes as examples)
Social engineering in our educational curriculum
Attempts to limit the right to bear arms (2nd Amendment)
Forced normalization and acceptance of multiple gender identification issues
Attacking basic capitalism (mining, manufacturing, agriculture) through increased regulation, taxes, etc.
Uncontrolled illegal immigration which results in human trafficking, sexual exploitation of women and children and the rise of drug trafficking in our country
